Andergrove State School is situated on the north side of the Pioneer River in the suburb of Andergrove. The school office is located on the corner of Fernleigh Avenue and Banksia Avenue.

Mackay Transit Coaches School Services offers students the opportunity to access a number of different bus routes which service the surrounding suburbs.
Bicycles and scooters
A bicycle rack is provided for children who ride to school and scooters are secured in an enclosure.
Children who ride bicycles or scooters to school are expected to place these in the areas provided. We recommend a bike lock to ensure security. Bicycles and scooters are not to be ridden in school grounds. Parents whose children ride to school should ensure their children understand road rules and safety. Helmets should be worn.
Cars
There is an off-road car park and drop-off zone available for use by parents. Entry is from Banksia Avenue.
Please enter and drive slowly, watching for children. These car parks become very congested at peak times, so alternative areas to drop off children are recommended, particularly along Fernleigh Avenue.
